When Isabelle’s estranged father dies he leaves her the house she grew up in, in the attic of which lies a mysterious box with her name on it. Under the pseudonym of Jude Fisher, I wrote three volumes in the Fools Gold saga – Sorcery Rising, Wild Magic and Rose of the World, along with the official Visual Companion guides to Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings movies.

I also co-wrote (with M. John Harrison) a series of cat novels under the pseudonym of Gabriel King. They’re mostly out of print now, but you should be able to track down a second-hand copy via Amazon or AbeBooks. The four books in the series were The Wild Road, The Golden Cat, The Knot Garden and Nonesuch.
